MST® Reactive red 195 is a kind of reactive dyes, mainly used in the dyeing and printing of cotton, linen, viscose, silk, wool and other fibers and their blended fabrics. Structural formula: Reactive Red 3BS has two isomers, generally referring to meta-ester C.I. Reactive Red 195, and some are para-ester C.I. Reactive Red 241 (the price of 241 is several times that of 195).
The influence of bath ratio on the dyeing performance of Reactive red 195
1) Reactive red 195 has good solubility and low affinity for cotton fiber, so the dyeing and fixation rate on cotton fiber is more affected by the bath ratio, the bath ratio is small, the dye uptake rate is high, and vice versa. The dye uptake rate is low, and the final color yield is also small.
2) Reactive red 195 is dyed on different cellulose fibers and is affected by the bath ratio. Generally speaking, the order of the influence of bath ratio from large to small is: unmercerized cotton> mercerized cotton> regenerated cellulose fiber.
3) The degree of influence of Reactive red 195 on bath ratio is also related to the amount of Reactive red 195 dye. Generally, the amount of dye is below 0.1% and above 4%. The fixing efficiency of dye on cotton fiber is less affected by bath ratio. Between 0.2~2% (owf) dosage, the influence of liquor ratio is greater. In actual production, for mercerized cotton, when the liquor ratio is reduced from 1:20 to 1:5, the amount of dye must be reduced by 8~13%, and the final color will be consistent.
