What are the characteristics of tyre grade zinc oxide ?
Tyre grade zinc oxide is a good thermal conductivity agent and heat capacity agent. Its thermal conductivity is 2.5 times as much as carbon black, 5 times as much as rubber, and heat capacity is about 2 times that of carbon black.
Why does adding tyre grade zinc oxide extend the life of the tire ? when we driving our car, Auto tires will generate heat when they are repeatedly compressed, stretched, flexed and deformed during high-load and high-speed continuous driving. That will make excessive heat and it will affect the performance and life of auto tires, so it is necessary to reduce the heat accumulation during tire travel.
