In the production of rubber automobile tires, MST® Low Price Tire Rubber Grade Zinc Oxide Powder can be used as an active agent to increase the activity of accelerators, and it’s can also be used as a vulcanization accelerator to reduce the amount of accelerators, shorten vulcanization time, and improve vulcanization efficiency.
During the vulcanization of rubber, the breaking of polysulfide bonds will produce hydrogen sulfide, thereby accelerating the aging of rubber. MST® Tire rubber grade zinc oxide powder will interact with hydrogen sulfide to produce zinc sulfide. This process will consume part of the hydrogen sulfide produced by desulfurization and cracking, thereby reducing the hydrogen sulfide. Catalytic decomposition of the internal cross-linking network of the rubber compound and stitching of broken sulfur bonds to stabilize the rubber cross-linking network; therefore, adding a certain amount of tire rubber grade zinc oxide powder to automobile rubber tires can extend the service life of the product.
