Uses of Vat Yellow GCN

1) Vat Yellow GCN can be used for dyeing and printing of cotton, viscose fiber, silk and V-cotton blended fabrics, with good affinity and level dyeing.

Production method of MST® Vat Yellow GCN

Vat Yellow GCN uses 2,6-diaminoanthraquinone, ω-trichlorotoluene and sulfur as raw materials, and uses cuprous chloride as a catalyst. The product is condensed in molten refined naphthalene. After acid treatment, oxidation, filtration, crushing, The finished product is dried. Heat 31.6kg of 2,6-diaminoanthraquinone (100%), 70kg of ω-trichlorotoluene (100%), 13.5kg of sulfur, 0.27kg of cuprous chloride and 100kg of refined naphthalene to 185℃, condensation reaction for 6h, then When the temperature was raised to 225°C, and then naturally cooled to 180°C, 50kg of refined naphthalene was added and filtered while hot at 140°C. The filter cake is washed 2-3 times with 200kg refined naphthalene, and the filter cake is dried and crushed. The crushed filter cake is acid treated with 450 kg of industrial sulfuric acid and 4500 L of water, then filtered, and the filter cake is washed with water to neutrality. Take the neutral warm filter cake and beat it with 200kg water, then add 100kg sodium hypochlorite solution (10%), heat up to 70℃ and oxidize for 1h, adjust pH=8, filter, wash with water to neutral, dry and grind to obtain the finished product Vat Yellow GCN.
